Car parking at Hebble Wharf is limited to one space per apartment, for 49 out of the 58 apartments. For the remaining 9, there is NO on-site parking.
Car Park spaces are leased to apartment owners and are not transferable between apartments. Residents are encouraged to mark their space with a notice showing the registration number of your vehicle – but (for security reasons) do not include your apartment number on any notice. Parking bays are numbered in accordance with this plan, though most of the numbers have now worn off the floor surface. All 49 spaces are allocated according to individual leases and tenants should have been notified of their allocated space at the time of starting their tenancy. If in doubt, check with your landlord or letting agent.

This plan shows the numbering of spaces and their location between each of the concrete pillars in the garage. It should be noted that the space inside the entrance (originally designated a disabled person’s parking space) is no longer designated as such, as it is now privately owned and allocated as Bay 49.
Parking for disabled badge holders

The Association has repeatedly raised concerns about the lack of a disabled person’s parking space with the Managing Agents, and with the Estate Management company, Spectrum Health CIC, which is responsible for the allocation of parking spaces to the businesses that occupy the offices on Navigation Walk.
We are pleased to confirm that Spectrum has now re-designated the parking space at the end of Hebble Wharf (between Hebble Wharf and the Barnsley Road bridge) as a disabled parking space, for use by blue badge holders only. This space is available to blue badge holders visiting Hebble Wharf or the offices, and no guarantee can be given on its availability at any particular time. Anyone parking in this space without displaying a blue badge will be liable to a parking fine.
Alternative Car Parking
Outside of Hebble Wharf, there is no authorised parking for residents or visitors. The space outside the front door of the building is reserved for emergency vehicles, though it is also used for deliveries. Other parking spaces in the development are allocated to individual businesses in the various office buildings, under the control of the Estate Management Company. Unauthorised parking anywhere around Hebble Wharf is likely to result in a parking penalty notice being issued.
Waterfront Car Park, Barnsley Road (now the Tileyard North Car Park)
Unfortunately, the pay and display car park on Barnsley Road is now closed and the car park is now owned and operated exclusively by Tileyard North. It is available to permit holders only between 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday, and available for public use overnight between 6pm and 6am daily, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays, at a charge of 50p per hour, payable only via the RingGo parking app using Location 49407. There are no ticket machines on site and payment cannot be made by cash or card. The same charges apply to blue badge holders. Parking here is regulated by Number Plate Recognition cameras, so parking – even for short periods – may result in a penalty charge notice being issued.
Please note that this is NOT the same Parking app that is used by Wakefield Council (MiPermit) and the MiPermit app cannot be used for payment at this site.

Once again, this is not the same parking app as used by Wakefield Council and payment cannot be made using the MiPermit or RingGo apps.

The nearest on-street parking is in Chancel Road (off Barnsley Road, opposite the Tileyard North Car Park). Parking here is controlled by Wakefield Council, and restricted to Resident Permit Holders only between 10-11am and between 2-3pm on Mondays to Fridays. At other times, parking is unrestricted.
If you are parking in Chancel Road, please ensure you do not block access to residents’ drives or car parks.
On-street parking is also unrestricted on parts of Barnsley Road, and on most side streets including Belle Isle Avenue, Bromley Mount and Welbeck Street – also on most of Sugar Lane, next to the cemetery. These are all residential streets, so please respect local residents and do not block access to driveways or garages.
